3'-Thiol Modifier C6 SS Glyc CPG; 1000 Å

3'-Thiol Modifier C6 SS Glyc CPG; 1000 Å is a reagent used in the solid-phase synthesis of oligonucleotides to incorporate a protected thiol group at the 3' end. It features a 6-carbon spacer (C6) with a disulfide bond (SS) linked to a glycyl group (Glyc), attached to controlled pore glass (CPG) with a 1000 Å pore size. This setup allows for the introduction of a thiol group, which can be used for further conjugation or cross-linking reactions, while the disulfide bond can be cleaved to reveal the free thiol group after synthesis.
