Description: Firefly Luciferase mRNA (ARCA, 5-moUTP) is a chemically modified mRNA designed to express Firefly Luciferase, a bioluminescent reporter protein derived from the firefly Photinus pyralis. This enzyme catalyzes ATP-dependent D-luciferin oxidation, producing light at approximately 560 nm wavelength. The mRNA is modified with ARCA (Anti-Reverse Cap Analog) capping and 5-methoxyuridine triphosphate (5-moUTP) to enhance translation efficiency, stability, and reduce immune activation. It also features a poly(A) tail to further stabilize the mRNA and improve translation initiation. This product is suitable for applications such as gene expression studies, cell viability assays, and in vivo imaging, where stable and efficient protein expression is required.
